Arsenal 3 - 3 Fulham

Mikel Arteta missed a penalty with the last kick of the game as Arsenal were held to a 3 – 3 draw by Fulham at the Emirates.

The Gunners impressed in the early stages as they raced into a 2 – 0 lead courtesy of an Olivier Giroud header and Lukas Podolski tap-in.

But then they lost their composure as the Cottagers homed in on the lead.
Dimitar Berbatov headed in on 30 minutes and he set up Alex Kacaniklic 10 minutes later to leave the scores equal at the break.

And Berbatov got his double mid-way through the second half as Arsenal seemed to crumble.

But the Gunners replied instantly as the impressive Olivier Giroud headed in seconds after striking a gaping chance off the post.

And when Sascha Riether was harshly adjudged to have handled Andre Arshavin’s cross in the box in injury time, Arteta stepped up.

But Mark Schwarzer dived low to his left to push the midfielders effort away as the referee blew for full-time.

Everton 2 – 1 Sunderland

The Toffees came from a goal behind to beat Sunderland and pile pressure on manager Martin O’Neill.

Just before the half-time whistle, Adam Johnson opened his account for the Black Cats to make it 1 – 0.

But Everton got themselves into the game in the second half as Marouane Fellaini took control.

The Belgian fired home the equalizer before assisting Nikica Jelavic for the winner 10 minutes from time.

The result leaves Everton 4th but Sunderland are languishing in 16th.

Stoke 1 – 0 QPR

QPR’s winless run continued as they lost to Stoke at the Britannia, leaving Mark Hughes on the brink.

His team were still in the game after the first period with the scores goalless.

But Charlie Adam stepped up for the Potters to slam in a shot after some poor defending.

With Southampton drawing at home to Swansea, QPR sink back to the basement.

Results:

Arsenal 3 – 3 Fulham
Everton 2 – 1 Sunderland
Reading 0 – 0 Norwich
Southampton 1 – 1 Swansea
Stoke 1 – 0 QPR
Wigan 1 – 2 West Brom

Aston Villa E – E Man United
