Chelsea maintain their four point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win at home to QPR.

Southampton stay second - five points ahead of third placed Manchester City, who face local rivals United tomorrow - following their 1-0 win at Hull.

West Ham came from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw at Stoke.

Swansea had Jonjo Shelvey sent off, but clung on for a scoreless draw at Everton.

Alexis Sanchez struck twice for Arsenal, who also saw Theo Walcott return from injury in their 3-0 defeat of Burnley.

An Esteban Cambiasso own goal early in the second half gave West Brom a 1-0 win at Leicester.

In the lunchtime kick-off, Newcastle registered their fourth straight win by beating Liverpool 1-0 at St James's Park.

Ayoze Perez got the only goal of the game 16 minutes from time.
