Today’s Off the Ball Saturday Panel was looking at how we can teach kids the sports we love, without making the joy of the game disappear amidst a hunger for victory. Joining Ger Gilroy in studio were Pat Daly, the GAA’s director of games development and research, George O’Connor, former Wexford hurler and now Leinster GAA’s Provincical Hurling Administrator and Off the Ball’s Diarmuid Lyng who, in a pre-broadcasting life was a primary school teacher and is now board member of Soar, an organisation helping young people reach their full potential.
