Paul Ronan, a veteran actor himself, has been photographed filming in the Phoenix Park, recording a scene with Ado aka actor Mark Dunne.

Ronan has a long acting career behind him. His film career includes roles in The Boxer, Ordinary Decent Criminal, Veronica Guerin and co-starring in The Devil's Own with Brad Pitt.

He also appeared in the television series Ballykissangel and had roles in Rebel Heart and The Tudors.

The plotlines in series five of Love/Hate are being kept under wraps but the crew have already started filming around various Dublin locations.

Ronan's daughter Saoirse is filming a new film, Brooklyn, in Wexford this week.
