Santi Cazorla caused incredulity on Saturday with a dive so bad that the football watching public were almost more offended than angry. Somehow, however, Cazorla wasn’t the worst offender in football over the weekend.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci found he had quite quickly made a mess of a great opportunity in front of goal in last night’s Serie A game against Palermo and was left with few options. With the ball rolling away from him, Bonucci decided the only thing for it was to go down as if he had been shot. But not just shot - he was "shot" in the style of an hammed up 80s action flick henchman. Bonucci has since apologised “I was supposed to shoot, but then I got different ideas clogged in my head. I deserved that yellow card and set a bad example. That’ll teach me.”
