During this morning's look at the back pages on OTB AM, speculation over the futures of Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding continued.

It has been reported that Sale Sharks have denied that they are interested in signing the pair.

Guest co-host Kevin Kilbane offered his opinion:

"They are going to get a negative response wherever it is. At first, there will be a bit of a shit storm probably, won't there?"

"They are in limbo, aren't they? And the longer this goes, and the more scrutiny that's put on where they are going to go to, it's putting pressure on the clubs I suppose. It is a difficult one for clubs to commit themselves, and think, 'Yeah, we're going to go with it,'" the former-Irish international continued.

Talk turned to whether clubs will hold off on making offers to the two players until late-summer or early into the 2018/19 season, in hope of picking them up at knock-down prices.
