After his playoff loss to Rory McIlroy at the Tour Championship, Ryan Moore has been named as America's last wildcard pick for the Ryder Cup.
Moore was handed the spot by captain Davis Love III on Sunday night. It will be his first appearance at the Ryder Cup.
The 33-year-old has a stellar amateur career, but the Ryder Cup will be his first time representing his country as a professional. In his amateur career, Moore played in a Walker Cup, Eisenhower Trophy and two Palmer Cups.

Moore is only the second rookie on Davis Love's team. He finished in 20th place in the qualifying system. Brooks Koepka is the only other rookie in the team. He qualified in the top eight.
The inclusion of Moore means that Bubba Watson has been left off the team. Watson just missed out on automatic qualification, and was overlooked for one of Love's first three picks earlier this month.
Watson, a two-time Masters champion, had previously played in three Ryder Cups. He congratulated Moore on his inclusion.

Moore will be expected to arrive at Hazeltine on Monday. He only has four days to prepare for the event, which begins on Friday's morning.
With the completion on America's team, Davis Love has five major winners (including two from this year) to call upon for the matches in Minnesota.
