Waterford manager Michael Ryan says he hasn't given up hope that John Mullane will reverse his decision to retire from the panel.
Mullane, Waterford’s five time All Star, announced his retirement from inter-county hurling last night. The De La Salle man won four Munster titles and a National League title with Waterford.
The 31 year old announced his decision yesterday evening having told his manager just hours before, following a meeting between the two on Wednesday.
Ryan says there was no falling out between himself Mullane.
The Manager says he'll meet Tony Browne this weekend to discuss his future with the squad.
