Portuguese rider Rui Costa won today's 16th stage of the Tour de France.
The Movistar rider was part of a large 26-man group, which also included Ireland's Nicolas Roche, that had opened up a huge lead over the peleton during today's hilly stage into Gap.
Costa broke away on the final climb of the day to claim a solo victory by over 40 seconds.
