Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane has pleaded not guilty to a public order offence over an alleged road rage row with a taxi driver in England.

Cabbie Fateh Kerar says Keane (43) was aggressive towards him, after he noticed him parked in his Range Rover in Altrincham in January.

The case was originally due to be heard last week, but was postponed.

Keane is due to stand trial in July.

Journalist Paddy Mulchrone says it is alleged the incident happened after the taxi driver and his passenger recognised Keane when they pulled up alongside him.
