Chelsea 3 - 0 Tottenham
Chelsea put their goalless draw at Sunderland behind them as the league leaders overpowered Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
After Tottenham had hit the bar through Harry Kane, Eden Hazard scored at the other end for the Blues after a one-two with Didier Drogba on 20 minutes.
Drogba then made it 2 - 0 two minutes later, finishing past Hugo Lloris.
Substitute Loic Remy added a third 17 minutes from time to make sure Tottenham's record of no wins at Stamford Bridge since 1990 would go on for another year.
Sunderland 1 - 4 Manchester City
Reigning champions City kept themselves within six points of Chelsea with a comfortable scoreline at Sunderland.
The Black Cats took the lead through Connor Wickham, but Sergio Aguero was once again the star turn for City.
The Argentine scored twice, including an equaliser within two minutes of Wickham's goal, and created another for his strike partner Stevan Jovetic, with Pablo Zabaleta getting the other goal.
Arsenal 1 - 0 Southampton
A late Alexis Sanchez goal helped the Gunners avoid the frustration of a draw against high-flying Southampton.
Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster pulled off a string of saves for his side but Sanchez grabbed a late winner for Arsene Wenger's side as they bagged a 1-0 win, scoring from close range shortly after Southampton's Toby Alderweireld was withdrawn to leave the Saints with ten men.
Everton 1 - 1 Hull
There was frustration for Everton as they were held to a 1 - 1 draw against Hull at Goodison Park.
Romelu Lukaku gave the Toffees a first half lead, before the Tigers pegged them back after the break through Sone Aluko.
Everton are now 11th, while Hull are just outside the relegation zone.
