The Roscommon footballers have been rocked by the news that Donie Shine is set to miss the rest of this year's Championship.
The county's star forward has become the latest inter-county player to suffer a cruciate ligament injury which means that he will have to sit out the rest of the summer.
Shine has confirmed the extent of the injury today after he was forced off during last Sunday's narrow Connacht semi-final defeat to Mayo.
Ruptured posterior cruciate. Not great, but could be worse. Thanks for all the messages.

The news will come as a major blow for John Evans and his side ahead of their entry into the second round of the qualifiers.
