Rory McIlroy put himself just two-off the lead after finishing his opening round at the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
The four-time major winner carded a 68 to finish on 2-under.
A shaky front nine saw the Holywood golfer manage two double bogeys and a bogey, although he did also pick up three birdies.

But the back nine pushed him back into contention with four birdies in a row from the 12th to the 15th.
Hideki Matsuyama and Kevin Chappell shared a lead on 4-under as McIlroy finished his round.
