Rory McIlroy has missed the cut at this year's US Open at Oakmont.
The World No 3 misses the first cut in a major tournament for the first time since 2013 with that last occurring at The Open.
A double-bogey on the final hole cost the Northern Irish golfer who carded a round of 71 to finish on 8-over.
It followed a 7-over par score of 77 in his opening round.
Dustin Johnson leads the way on 4-under, while Shane Lowry is just two shots further back as the best of the Irish.
Lowry is in a four-way a tie for third, with Andrew Landry second on the leaderboard on 3-under.
Graeme McDowell is further back on 3-over.
