Former Ireland international Rory Delap has announced his retirement from football.
The 37-year-old joined League 2 side Burton Albion in the summer but had not played since September due to injury.
Delap rose to prominence during his six year spell at Stoke City between 2007 and 2013.
The midfielder made almost 180 Premier League appearances for the Potters and became well-known for his trademark long throws into the opposition box.
Delap also played for Sunderland, Derby, Carlisle United and Barnsley during his 19-year career.
The English-born midfielder was capped 11 times by Ireland with his last appearance coming against Czech Republic in a 2004 friendly.
