Talks between Wayne Rooney and David Moyes which were due yesterday did not take place as "key people" could not attend.

It remains unclear whether or not Rooney will stay at Old Trafford.

However on Monday night's Off The Ball, Andy Mitten, the editor of Man United fanzine United We Stand suggested that people close to the situation have indicated that the England striker is clear in his decision to walk away from the club.

Moyes is still clearing up his management team and Phil Neville is reportedly next to join the backroom staff.
