Rumours over the weekend suggest that Owen Heary and Sligo Rovers will part ways.
As of yet, nothing has been confirmed by any of the parties involved and Stuart Byrne told Off The Ball tonight that "it's really down to the club to either confirm it or un-confirm it".
Waterford United manager Roddy Collins also thinks the situation should be clarified by the club and any split should be made as cleanly as possible.
"Another controversy in our beautiful league," said Roddy, who does think it was "a club too soon" for Heary.
Meanwhile, Stuey believes the players have not performed to the level expected and that they "could have been in luckier in some games".
The lads also discussed the shock result of the weekend as league leaders Dundalk suffered a defeat to Bohemians, while Stuey highlighted the significance of Shamrock Rovers' latest wins:
