Nicolas Roche remains in 6th place overall after today's 16th stage of the Vuelta a Espana.

In what was the last of three consecutive stages through the Pyrenees, overall leader and 2010 winner Vincenzo Nibali lost some precious time to his main rival, Chris Horner.

Roche gained just 6 seconds on the red jersey holder and remains over 3 minutes and 40 seconds off the lead with five stages to go.

Today's stage was won by French rider Warren Barguil who claimed his second stage win of this year's Vuelta.
