Connacht's Robbie Henshaw has been withdrawn from Ireland's Tour of Argentina due to a hand ligament injury.
The 20-year-old centre sustained the injury earlier in the season but it had not limited his ability to train or play.
The Athlone man exacerbated the injury in training this week and further specialist advice has recommended that surgical repair of the damaged ligaments should not be delayed further.

Henshaw has been capped three times for Ireland and is scene as a potential long term replacement for Brian O'Driscoll.
