Rob Penney has responded furiously to the news that Connacht have been able to sign Mils Muliaina for next season.
The Munster head coach believes that Connacht have demonstrated an unfair advantage in recent weeks in their recruitment of several high-profile signings.
The arrival of Muliaina along with the likes of Bundee Aki and Tom McCartney means that Connacht have been allowed to strengthen their squad as they continue to operate outside of the IRFU's player succession policy.
Penney has questioned how the policy in relation to Connacht will ultimately benefit Irish rugby and has bemoaned how the other provinces have been restricted in the transfer market.
