Australian Ricciardo set the fastest time in a rain-affected first practice ahead of the F1 British Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Torro Rosso driver was one of only eleven racers able to complete a lap because of the wet conditions at Silverstone. Ricciardo is currently ranked 14th in this season's standings with 7 points.

Lewis Hamilton was fifth quickest for Mercedes, while Marussia's Max Chilton was ninth.

Jenson Button and Paul Di Resta were among the drivers unable to get out on the track.

The British Grand Prix will take place at 1 PM on Sunday.
