Real Madrid have pipped Manchester City to the signing of Spanish U21 star Isco.
The Malaga attacking midfielder has moved to the Bernabeu for a fee of about €30 million, snubbing City who are now managed by his most recent manager, Manuel Pellegrini.
Speculation had mounted that Isco would choose Madrid and on Twitter, Real posted the following message: "Isco, new Real Madrid player".
