Rangers are refusing to comment on reports that manager Ally McCoist has offered his resignation.

He is expected to be in charge for tonight's Scottish Championship fixture against Queen of the South.

McCoist had come under increasing pressure after his side slipped nine points behind Championship leaders Hearts.
