Glasgow Rangers have confirmed that their EGM will take place next month and at Ibrox.

The meeting has been dogged by controversy as two previous attempts to hold the EGM at London hotels were scuppered when the hotels pulled out.

The meeting is now scheduled for March 6th.

Shareholder Dave King has called the meeting and is hoping to remove the current board of directors at the club.

The board have released a statement saying they will ask King: "what action he intends to take to avoid the suspension of the Company from trading on the London Stock Exchange and the subsequent risk of being delisted from trading."

In 2013 King settled a major tax dispute with South African authorities over unpaid tax.
