Queens Park Rangers have contacted former Tottenham interim coach Tim Sherwood with a few to filling their managerial vacancy.

Harry Redknapp resigned as manager yesterday and Derby boss Steve McClaren and Real Madrid assistant coach Paul Clement are among the potential candidates to replace him.

Sherwood is favourite for the job also worked closely with QPR's new director of football Les Ferdinand while at Spurs, with the latter acting as his assistant.
