Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis may be heading out the door at Selhurst Park just days ahead of their Premier League opener.

Pulis was named manager of the year for guiding Palace to mid-table safety last season, but rows over transfer budgets have led to crisis talks today with the Eagles' board.

The London Evening Standard reports that chairman Steve Parish wants to keep the budget "under control" and that Pulis is frustrated by the lack of transfer activity.

The club confirmed the signing of Martin Kelly from Liverpool for €2 million today, with the versatile defender joining former Cardiff City and Sunderland striker Frazier Campbell and ex-Fulham defender Brede Hangeland as a summer addition. Goalkeeper Chris Kettings also joined on a free from Blackpool.

Palace get their new season underway with a trip to Arsenal this Saturday.
