Leinster say that Ian Madigan should be available for this weekend's European Champions Cup clash with Harlequins.

The Irish international suffered an ankle injury during the first half of Saturday's Guinness Pro12 win over the Ospreys but Leinster are optimistic that he will be able to play this weekend.

Mike McCarthy is also expected back after following concussion protocols, while his second-row partner Kane Douglas suffered a minor concussion during that Ospreys game and is also likely to be cleared in time to play this weekend.

In a further boost, Luke Fitzgerald looks set to feature against the Aviva Premiership side, but the hamstring injury of Richardt Strauss will have to be monitored throughout the week.
