How Premier League salaries really compare to the big American sports

As Sporting Intelligence's Top 10 showed earlier today, Premier League figure quite highly when it comes to the average salaries paid to players in all sports including NBA, Major League Baseball and NFL.

While Paris Saint-Germain head the table, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City feature in the Top 10, while Liverpool are 14th on the list.

Indeed, Manchester City's woes this season does not look good when you consider that they are the third-highest group of players in world sport.
