Four Champions League titles in the last decade means Barcelona can be considered the dominant team in European football in this era.
That success has been managed with a core of players including Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Dani Alves, Sergio Busquets and of course ... Lionel Messi. Even before that, the likes of Victor Valdes and the now retired Carles Puyol were key components.
But after their latest final victory over Juventus in Saturday's Berlin final, where do they compare among the pantheon of European Cup dynasties stretching back to the Real Madrid of Di Stefano and Puskas all the way to the late '80s/early '90s Milan and beyond?
We'll be talking to our European football correspondent Graham Hunter on Off The Ball tonight about Saturday's final, but we'd also like to hear your thoughts with this poll of generations with at least three European Cups (refresh the page if you cannot see it immediately):
The roll of honour
Real Madrid (1954-1965): Six European Cups, nine La Liga tiles, one Copa del Rey. The core generally contained Alfredo Di Stefano, Ference Puskas, Francisco Gento with some crossover.
Ajax (1969-1974): Three European Cups, three Dutch titles, three Dutch Cups. Spearheaded by Johann Cruyff before he left for Barcelona in 1973.
Bayern Munich (1971-1980): Three European Cups, four Bundesliga titles, one German Cup. The Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller, Sepp Maier and Paul Breitner generation also enjoyed success at international level.
Liverpool (1975-1984): Four European Cups, seven First Division titles, one FA Cup. Not all were present throughout that whole era, but the '70s to '80s span revolved around Souness, Dalglish, McDermott, Thompson and Kennedy.
Milan (1987-1994): Three European Cups and four Serie A titles. Their Dutch trio and Italian legends like Baresi, Donadoni and Maldini were present for much of that era.
Real Madrid (1998-2003): Three European Cups and two La Liga titles. Before the Galactico project went into overdrive, the likes of Raul, Roberto Carlos and Fernando Hierro won all there was to win.
Barcelona (2005-present): Four European Cups, six La Liga titles and three Copa del Reys.
