Luis Suarez has received a nine-game suspension and four month ban from any football activity for his bite on Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.

It means he will not return to action for Liverpool until November and rules him out of the remainder of Uruguay's World Cup campaign.

But was the punishment too lenient, given the fact that it his third such transgression?
