Stephen Roche told Newstalk today that he has no issue with Lance Armstrong's plans to ride this year's Tour de France route for charity.
The Dubliner says the disgraced Texan is entitled to "redemption" following his extraordinary fall from grace, having been banned from the sport for life and stripped of seven Tour de France titles for doping, and subsequently admitting his guilt.
But UCI chief Brian Cookson disagrees, and has branded Armstrong's intentions "completely disrespectful".
