Paul Pogba has taken a swipe at his former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, negatively comparing him to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

In an interview with SKY Sports, the French World Cup winner criticised Mourinho's management style, accusing him of going 'against the players' at Old Trafford and treating players like they didn't 'exist anymore'.

Mourinho was sacked as United boss in December 2018. Pogba was part of the Europa League and League Cup winning sides under the Portuguese before matters turned sour.

Their cooling of relations saw Pobga stripped of the vice-captaincy in September 2018 before Mourinho was shown the door.

Pobga has been the subject of consistent transfer speculation around a move away from Manchester, but he's publicly praised the Norwegian, with the Red Devils second in the Premier League and now in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

"What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn't go against the players. He wouldn't go against the players.

"Maybe Ole wouldn't pick them, but it's not like he puts them on the side like they don't exist anymore. That's the difference between Mourinho and Ole.

"Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don't know what happened. That's the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don't know. So, yeah."

Pogba has also accused Mourinho of diversionary tactics following United's 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last Sunday.

Mourinho said that Heung Min Son's father was a better person than Solskjaer after the United boss took the South Korean to task for his reaction in the lead up to Edinson Cavani's controversial disallowed goal.

"I don't know what happened, I'm sure Mourinho said something that would make people speak, that's what he does," said Pogba.

"We got the result we wanted, Ole knows it and we enjoyed that moment because we know Mourinho and we know what he likes. We don't need this - we just focus on us.

"We won the game, he lost the game and he doesn't want to speak about the game, he wants to speak about the dad of someone, that's what he does. Everybody knows him, it's very Mourinho."
