It's an Argentinian double in the Premier League Manager and Player of the Month awards.

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has won October's Manager of the Month award, after home wins over Swansea and Fulham and an away draw with Manchester United leaving them sixth in the table.

The former Espanyol manager's pressing game has certainly impressed in the Premier League since he took over from Nigel Adkins.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero picked up the Player of the Month award after four goals in City's three Premier League games last month. He also scored in the Champions League in midweek, although that does not count towards domestic awards.
