UEFA president Michel Platini has called for football to scrap yellow cards, and introduce a sin bin.

The head of Europe's governing body is quoted in an interview with Spanish newspaper AS.

He would like to see players who are cautioned being banished with 10 or 15 minutes out of the game.

"I would make it like rugby, punishing the offender with 10 or 15 minutes out of the game," he said.
