Most fans have, at some point or other, told anyone who will listen that they could do better if they were out on the pitch instead of the players. It’s a fanciful notion at the best of times but just in case anyone wanted to test the theory one Dynamo Kiev fan decided to get involved in the action during his side’s 0-0 draw with Porto last night.

His contribution isn’t particularly productive and his tumble in the box serves only to hold up his side’s attack and give Porto some breathing space to clear their lines. His panicked dash away from the scene of the crime could be his best contribution.

Considering Goal.com called the game “dour”, and Yahoo apologised at the end of their live coverage for the lack of entertainment in the game, perhaps the pitch invasion wasn’t all bad.
