Tony McCoy shook the sporting world on Saturday with his announcement that he will retire at the end of the season.

Should we be so surprised 40-year-old AP is going to walk away? Of course not. But images that have become so familiar - like this one of him winning at Leopardstown on Sunday - are the reason it will be a wrench.
