As the Christmas fixtures get underway, this seems like an opportune time to pick the best XI from the Premier League season so far.

That's exactly what we did on Team 33 this week as Richard, Joe and I made a case for the most impressive players in each position.

Naturally there was plenty of disagreement about some of the candidates that made it into the final XI as you will hear on this week's episode.
