One is a successful former Celtic manager and the other is the club's most popular fan.
Ireland boss Martin O'Neill was at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards last night when he bumped into 11-year-old Co Armagh native Jay Beatty, who has famously struck up a friendship with ex-Celtic forward Giorgios Samaras and is an SPL Goal of the Month winner.

Jay, who has Down's Syndrome, had a photographic memento of his meeting with O'Neill backstage where both reminded each other of their Celtic legend status:
