At today's 2014 World Cup draw, a host of well-known footballing dignitaries were tasked with picking the balls from the pots.
Things were a little different back in 1938 for the draw in France. Then FIFA President Jules Rimet tasked his grandson Yves with choosing the destiny of the qualifiers from a large jar.

Incidentally Yves is still alive and in his 80s.
