Back in 2007, the Daily Mail predicted the England team that would line out for future World Cups.
Billed as the England team of the future, they could not have been further from reality.
In fact only one of the players in the starting XI is even likely to be on the plane to Brazil: Theo Walcott.
Michah Richards has been overlooked by successive England managers but the likes of Michael Johnson (retired prematurely due to mental health issues), Jose Baxter and Dean Parrett (both League One) have zero chance of going to the World Cup.
