Manchester United's home kit for next season appears to have been leaked online and the design includes a nod to their beginnings as Newton Heath.

Featuring two tones of red - darker on one side and slightly lighter on the other - it reflects an aspect of the yellow and green kits worn between 1879 and 1887.

Designed by Adidas, the shirt is sponsored by Chevrolet with a simple look.
