Fabian Delph has reportedly made a dramatic U-turn and is now poised to join Manchester City after all.

Having turned down move to the Etihad just last week, the Aston Villa midfielder released a statement pledging his loyalty to the Birmingham club, who he helped to last season's FA Cup final.

That statement had appeared to be quite clear:

"I'm not leaving. I'm staying at the football club and I can't wait for the start of the season and captaining this great football club," he had said.

But the England international is reportedly having a City medical today ahead of an £8M switch.
