A final-round 66 saw Kevin Phelan finish among four players in joint second at the Joburg Open today.

The Waterford man hit the clubhouse in South Africa on 15-under par, alongside local Jaco van Zyl, and Englishmen Anthony Wall and David Howell.

That was just two shots off the new champion Andy Sullivan. The Englishman hit a final-round 66 - the same as Phelan - to claim glory.

Elsewhere, lightning at Palm Beach yesterday caused yet more delays at the Honda Classic, where the furthest players have ventured is three holes into the thrid round.

Dubliner Pádraig Harrington leads - he's 7-under par, one clear of Patrick Reed.
