Ireland's Peter O'Mahony has been named as captain of the British and Irish Lions for the first test against New Zealand this weekend. 

The Munster man takes over the reigns from tour captain Sam Warburton who starts on the bench.

Jamie George starts at hooker with Mako Vunipola and Tadhg Furlong either side of him in the front row. George Kruis and Alun Wyn Jones start in the second-row with Sean O'Brien and Taulupe Faletau joining O'Mahony in the back row.

Conor Murray and Owen Farrell are paired at half-back with Ben Te'o and Jonathan Davies completing the midfield.

Liam Williams starts at full-back with Anthony Watson and Elliott Daly on the wings. 

Ken Owens, Jack McGrath, Kyle Sinckler, Maro Itoje, Sam Warburton, Rhys Webb, Johnny Sexton and Leigh Halfpenny are all named on the bench.
