Peter Creedon has stepped down as Tipperary senior football manager following today's heavy defeat to Tyrone.

The defeat, which saw his side crash out of the All-Ireland series, was to be the last game of his three year tenure in charge of the Premier County.
Creedon replaced John Evans for the 2012 championship campaign and guided them to the last 12 of the All-Ireland series.
Tipperary football has improved during Creedon's stint in charge, but today's defeat to Tyrone signalled the end of his reign as manager.
