Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has denied that he is returning to Barcelona.
The Spanish international came through the youth ranks at Barca, and has been talked about as a possible replacement for long-time custodian Victor Valdes who has been adamant about the fact that he will not sign a new contract.
Valdes tipped his Spain team-mate as a worthy successor for the No 1 jersey.
But Reina says he has no plans to leave Anfield despite the speculation.
Last week Barcelona were said to have had a €17 million bid for Galatasaray keeper turned down as they step up their hunt for a shot-stopper.
