Reports in Spain have claimed that Pep Guardiola is to join Manchester City next season.

The Spanish manager is in the final season of a three year contract with Bayern Munich. He has yet to begin negotiations with the German club to extend that deal and it now looks like he wont be.

Spanish radio station COPE, has revealed that Guardiola is to fulfill one of his managerial dreams and manage in England stating that he wants "a change of scenery". In August, Manuel Pellegrini extended his contract as Manchester City manager until 2017.

Guardiola's arrival in England would be an enormous coup for Manchester City. The 44-year-old has won two Bundesliga titles with Bayern and is on course to win a third. In his time as Barcelona manager, Guardiola won two Champions League titles and three La Liga championships.
