Despite the gorgeous sunshine across the country this weekend, some parts of Dublin could be seen covered in a fresh dusting of snow.
Granted, it was all too add some atmosphere to the set of Penny Dreadful's second season, which relocates a grim Dickensian London to the capital of Ireland.
Filming began last week, and members of the crew have been tweeting some images from the set, giving us a glimpse of the misery the coming winter months promise to bring with them - and the great TV we'll be tuning into to avoid leaving the house.
Some of the production team having been tweeting images showing how the crew have managed to recreate winter in the middle of an Indian summer.

Penny Dreadful returns to Sky Atlantic later this year. It's enough to make you think about getting turf in for the fire.
