Paul Dunne's performance at the 2015 Open Championship has seen him rocket up the world rankings.

The Greystones amateur has climbed 719 places to 896th in the world, despite his disappointing final round performance.

He had held a share of the lead heading into yesterday's action but dropped six shots.

The 22-year-old is expected to remain in the amateur ranks until after this September's Walker Cup at Royal Lytham and St Annes.
