The second day at the Shenzhen Open golf will need to be completed tomorrow after heavy rain and lightning caused play to be abandoned.

Ireland's Paul Dunne was able to complete his second round in China however.

Having carded a 70 on Day 1,  the Greystones born golfer slipped back after his second round.

He carded a level par 72 to move back into a tie for 30th overall.

Dunne's high point was an eagle on the 9th, although that was balanced out by the setback of a double bogey on the 5th.

He also birdied the 1st and 4th, but bogeys on the 7th and 13th holes again balanced that out.

First place is currently held by Austria's Bernd Wiesberger on 12-under after he followed up a first round 67 with a 65 on his second day.

That leaves him four shots clear of the field ahead of the pair of South Africa's Dylan Frittelli and Dane Thorbjorn Olesen, who both shot 68s for the second day in succession.

It was also the second day in a row that play has been disrupted due to the conditions.
